This hat is simply stunning! Women’s 1930s hats were small and simple in decoration, yet their shaping was a work of art. Folded, molded, and angled felt made hats look like something out of a Picasso painting. Women’s hats in the 1930s covered the hair and were used to mysteriously cover one eye or the forehead. Cloche hats or otherwise called slouch hats were a very fitted hat usually made of a felt material that were bell shaped. The front brim could be floppy or sturdy and was used to cover the forehead and eyes. Hats were normally worn asymmetrically & slightly tilted or propped to one side of the head. Label: Size 22/ Consumer protection label. There is no designer label, indicating it was a custom-made creation. This is an authentic piece of fashion history!
